Edith, a long-haul flight attendant, travels the world, while Florent, a digital project manager, thrives in managing web projects.

Together, we live a cross-border life between the Spanish and French Basque Country, and we are happy to share our favorite spots, best tips, and secrets of this region we love so much.

The apartment can accommodate a maximum of 4 guests.

It features a bedroom with a double bed (150×200) and a bedroom with a trundle bed (90×200) that can be converted into two single beds side by side (180×200).

It’s perfect for a family or two couples seeking comfort and privacy.

This is a pedestrian street where parking is allowed only between 6:00 and 10:00 a.m..

Outside of these hours, especially for dropping off luggage, you can park very temporarily on Abbé Onaindia street or at the small parking lot on Place Charles Lebout, but be aware that it gets very busy on summer afternoons and traffic can be difficult.

There are also a few free 30-minute parking spots at the beginning of Rue Joseph Garat and on Boulevard Victor Hugo, across from the market hall, close to the apartment.

Apart from luggage drop-off, for daily use, you can find free parking:

  • In the Fargeot and Urdazuri neighborhoods, across the railway. Please note: only on-street parking is free and unlimited. Parking in lots (such as Gregorio Marañon or residential lots) is free but limited to 2h30 with a mandatory European blue disc placed on the dashboard (valid in summer).

The beach of Saint-Jean-de-Luz is calm and safe, thanks to the sea walls that protect the bay. The water quality is generally good, but it’s advisable to stay alert on rainy days and the days following heavy rain, as bathing water quality can temporarily decline.
